We Lost Jim

Colorful and outspoken Jim Avolio passed away on January 18, 2016.

Jim took our game so seriously that no small controversy missed his powerful opinion.  At heart, he was endearing.  The Turtles and The Snails will miss him.

Dr. Bill Rotermund 1926-2015

Dr. Bill Rotermund, our leader, manager and friend passed away on January 15, 2015.

In anyone was "in charge" of this over 60 softball league, Bill was.  He worked with the Dundee Township Park District, chose our "uniforms" and when he was able, came to watch our games.  When Bill was just a tad younger, he also played.  Everything with a smile and incredible good spirits.  He will be missed.  Condolences can be directed to DeFiore Jorgensen where you can also see him complete obituary.

Play Ball!

We Are Not Afraid

We may be devilishly slow, we may not run the bases as fast as we used to, but we are not afraid of devils.  Not  even dust devils.  Apparently, Sy had company around second base for about ten minutes!  Was it payback for past sins?
